Itinerante Teatro was founded in Mexico from a personal project of Julieta in her 3rd year of worldwide travels. In 2017, Itinerante Teatro grew in size and scope to a team of collaborators who share the mission and vision of Itinerante Teatro and are linked through each work project to accomplish the project's objectives. Their team works across disciplines for a common goal. They trust each person's vision from their particular field of study to create a better plan to make those creative and artistic ideas real.

Julieta, the owner and founder of Itinerante Teatro, wanted to rebrand her project, a traveller blog, into a more robust professional arts producer business. After travelling and working in theatre and arts, she wanted to bring her experiences to help artists and other producers make their creative visions and ideas an actual play, piece, or performance.
